Dearest Lyndsey,
I miss you so very much.
You were always a huge support to me as a new Mum and I will never forget your kindness, honesty and guidance in those first few years.
I will treasure our adventures together and I am so grateful I could call you my special friend for the last ten years.
My life has a huge hole in it now, but I promise you that we will keep in touch with your gorgeous boys. Belle loves them to bits and watching their easy friendship is a joy.

Always remember you for your optimism and smile on your face. Love Natasha x
We remember Lyndsey for her positivity, happiness and for being an amazing mum to Daniel and Joseph.
Love Maddie, Rupert and Toby xxx
Lyndsey was the kindest, most generous and big hearted woman I knew. She wrapped her arms and heart around others with compassion, love and wisdom. Always with a smile. All of my times with you were rich, authentic and genuine. You are already deeply missed but you shine so very brightly on in the Wilkes Family lives xxx
Lyndsey peace after so much suffering. We watched you fight so hard to stay with Lee, Joseph and Daniel but it wasn’t to be.
They long for your arms to wrap round them for one last cuddle.
To say ‘love and miss you mummy’
would be the boys wish.
We as a family will do our best to support them all for you Lynz, and we will always love them unconditionally like you would have done.
Sleep now in eternal peace.
Love Sue and Tony xx
Dear Lyndsey, Thank you from the many, many years of friendship: The Wednesday afternoon pub visits to The Gun Barrels as students, as an NQT at Shenley with Toby, through to watching your lovely family grow with Lee. Your positivity and strength shone through, even in the toughest of times. We will always see your face in your boys. With very much love, Helen, Toby, Poppy and Jake x
Lyndsey was without doubt a person who made a difference in this world.
Our community is indebted to her quiet determination to give her best for our children, whether raising funds through our PTA or queitly supporting those who needed guidance or a hand on their shoulder in their most challenging moments.
Lyndsey’s greatest achievements are of course the wonderful children and husband that she nurtured and loved so dearly.
If we can measure the impact that someone makes in this world by how those who you leave behind get through such dark times, then Lyndsey you have made an enormous impact. They are your legacy and they have left no stone unturned in making sure Friday is a fitting celebration of your life.
Lee, Joseph and Daniel, our community will be there for you whenever needed and we will celebrate your wonderful mum and wife with a fitting tribute when you are ready.
We will be thinking of you all on Friday and send our sincere best wishes and love.
Mr Bradshaw and the whole Colmore community. Xxx
Lyndsey always walked through the doors of Monyhull with a warm smile, whether bringing Joseph and Daniel to sparks, sitting alongside me at coffee mornings or behind a stall at the craft fairs, those crochet animals still take pride of place in my neice’s rooms. Her helpfulness with my eldest GCSE geography, will remain with him. We will miss her and her warmth, cheerfulness and creativity. These will live on in her precious boys as you guide them Lee x
Lyndsey was such a lovely, warm, friendly and positive person and I have lots of happy memories of our chats firstly at Noah’s Ark playgroup and then at Colmore. She was a great mum and was so proud of her beautiful family. Sending lots of love to Lee, Joseph and Daniel. xxx
Lyndsey, you enriched my moms life, and I have heard nothing but amazing things about you. You have left an amazing legacy in your boys and the people whose lives have been bettered for having you in it. Love Matt x
Lyndsey, you always had a smile on your face and loved a chat whenever I picked Ava up from Martina’s, saw you in the park or at a craft sale.
We will remember you as the happy, friendly person that you were.
Love Sarah, Ben, Ava and Maia
Lyndsey- I will always remember the times at Martina’s and when I think of you I think of what a wonderful mum you were to your lovely boys. I am in awe of the strength and bravery you showed- even in the toughest of times.
With love, Claire, Andy, Jessie, Edie & Billyxx
To the gorgeous Mum I have meet 8 years ago…
You will be missed always Lyndsey – loving friend always helpful, happy full of life
We remember seeing you across the road with boys walking to school and now you not there anymore and still can’t believe it
We will miss you loads – your lovely boys are shadow of you and we will always remember you looking at them
Lyndsey touched so many lives. We will all remember her smiles in the playground, her devotion to her boys, her creativity, her sheer determination and her dedication to the Colmore family. Lyndsey and I met as new Mums. She was a big part of the support network we all need at that stage of our lives and beyond. I remember fondly that our boys were born on the same day and that I apparently got in quicker to grab the last bed on delivery suite! Our parents met in the waiting area and had a shared anxious wait for news of the arrival of their grandsons. Precious memories. Lyndsey will be remembered and missed by so many. It is our turn to reflect the love and support that she gave out back to Lee, Joseph and Daniel. Thinking of you all and sending our deepest condolences 💐
Lovely Lyndsey,
Thank you for 10 years of friendship and support, the hours spent at soft play and playgroup, and crafting chat over coffee.
A wonderful friend and devoted mum, you will be missed.
Love Beckie xx
Remembering Lyndsey at Coffee 1 enjoying a good chat while she did her knitting, such happy memories.
Lyndsey, you were always so lovely and such a wonderful friend to my mom. I’ll always think of what an incredible mom you were to your lovely boys. I’m thinking of you all and sending all my love xx
Lindsey, too soon, too quick… you were always so positive and happy, nothing seams to annoying you, always there to help everyone. You were truly at the heart of our community. Your fight was so brave and you never complained. My thoughts are for your lovely family, sending all my love. Rest in Peace. Our deepest condolences from Isaac, Josephine, Tom and Janis (repose en paix)
Dear Lovely Tallent Family,
Sending so much love to you all at this sad time. Daniel and Joseph are your shining light and your love for them absolutely sparkled from you both.
Thinking of you all. Lots of love
Carol Fox
Lyndsey,
Your positivity, enthusiasm and generous spirit always stood out when you came into the school building. Nothing was ever too much trouble and your kind and caring nature shone through. Even up until a few months ago you were emailing to get us free laptops for school during the lockdowns. Your drive and determination to raise funds for hundreds of children never went unnoticed. Your welcoming smile in the direction of new parents at induction evenings and stay and play sessions put people at ease as you gave up your free time on a regular basis.
You will be sorely missed by many but your legacy lives on in your lovely boys who obviously have so much of you in them. We are all here for them whenever they need us.
We will celebrate your life and what you meant to us at school with a lasting tribute that we think you would like – because we want to say ‘Thank you so much Lyndsey’. ‘Thank you for allowing us to take time up in your life and making such a difference to us all’
Keep smiling on us x
Dearest Lyndsey, I will miss you. You were such a kind, caring and generous friend, with a truly infectious smile and laugh. Utterly selfless, you were always thinking of how you could help and support others, even when facing the most challenging of times. You really were a remarkable woman.
I will miss seeing your lovely, happy face in the playground (and our chats about Strictly!) but your legacy will forever live on through the many, many lives that you touched and your beautiful family.
With all our love Sian, Andy and the girls xx

Lyndsey really did live for those she she Loved – And those she loved will Always REMEMBER.’
In heartfelt sympathy.
You were such a caring, kind and funny friend Lyndsey- I can still hear your cheeky giggle and see your huge smile as we chatted at playgroup watching our littlies play. But I also remember your compassion and guidance over a coffee and cake – you always had the right words to make anything seem better. You were such a strong and wonderful Mom, taken far too soon. Sending love to Lee, Joseph and Daniel. Rest well now lovely lady xx
Lyndsey,
A creative, strong and loving friend, wife and mother. Gone too soon. You will be missed.
Love and condolences to all the family.

A strong woman and a kind and supportive friend who I will miss and always remember.
Dear Lee, I only met Lyndsey a few times but it felt more than that as we all drew close thru lockdown on our street last year. Lyndsey’s love of life and creativity was evident in all her posts, her window displays, Christmas decorations, painted hearts for the planters, all the times she shared in comments & encouragements on the chats. She never once indicated her private struggles with her illness, right thru to the end. She struck me as a very brave, noble soul. Mike and I will be watching the funeral today and remain here as neighbours to call upon if you need us. Jane & Mike (Abbots Road)
Lyndsey was a fantastic friend, colleague and teacher. She was the kindest of people and was so special to so many of us. I will never forget the kindness and care she gave me when my mum passed. I have so many incredible and laugh out loud memories of my time working with her in the geography department at Shenley. She had an awesome sense of humour and the greatest of smiles. I feel very lucky to have known such a lovely human being. Sending all my love to Lee and the boys and her family and friends xxxxx
It was lovely to meet you Lyndsey and have a chance to experience your energy and creativity. So many beautiful words from your close friends and family today about how you have been such an inspirational person and made a difference in this world. A lovely, dedicated mum too. Your light will shine on.
Lynz
Thinking back fondly to the times all those years ago when we began our Shenley adventure together – sharing a “good morning” in a bustling staffroom or a passing wave on the stairs by your classroom on the way up to mine. Remembering you on staff nights out at Snobs, the Tap and Spile and the Australian bar, always smiling and always with a pint of Strongbow or a bottle of “K” in hand. I remember at Dave and Siobhan’s wedding being completely ignored by our own lovely Sian because she just wanted to be dancing with you. It was wonderful to watch you flourish into an outstanding and dedicated teacher and in recent years, with your two lovely lads in tow, a proud and loving Mom. I will see you in them every time I meet them and I promise you that the Summerfield clan will give them and Lee all the love and support that we can. I know that you will still be smiling over them.
Dave, Helen, Sian, Joel and Millie xxxxx
Lyndsey was such a warm, generous and courageous lady who has sadly been taken too soon.
Sending love and strength to Lee, Daniel and Joseph.
We are thinking of you all.
With much love,
Michelle, Mark, Oscar, Max and Leo xx
It’s been impossible to put into words the loss of Lyndsey. Saying goodbye to my lovely friend has been so hard for everyone. We shared a love of geography, gardening, crafts, Padana pizza and of course our families. We drank our pints together, planned our weddings together and compared our pregnancy notes together.
I will forever miss you my dear friend. You leave a wonderful legacy in the beautiful family you created. Your time was too short but you made such a difference to so many in the time that you had.
You will forever live in my heart, love Julie xxxxxxxx
Oh Lyndsey, I’ve been messaging you for a while and randomly looked here. I’m so sad to hear of your passing. I can’t believe it to be honest. We were both diagnosed at the same time and had our first surgeries together. God bless you and rest in peace. You were a great friend to me and I’m so glad to have met you. Lots of love Kuljeet xxx
Condolences to your husband and the boys xxx
So very sad to hear of the passing of your Lyndsey, after catching up with an ex Shenley Colleague
I remember when we both started at Shenley in the 90’s and because we started together and looked similar the pupils somehow thought we were sisters. So we just pretended we were!
Remember those Thursday nights out with Naheed, Catherine and Manjula. We had so much fun!!
In recent years enjoyed seeing all your craftwork and following your beautiful family after finding you again through social media
With love to Lee and your boys
