RIP beautiful.caring Jane.nothing was ever too much for you .you were like a ray of light that lit up a room .it was a joy to work with you at Hill Top surgery .you will be sadly missed by all that knew you .loving thoughts to all your family ……..shine with the stars precious Lady …love Lola xx
I worked with Jane for over 30 years between Tividale and Bleakhouse clinics untll 1997.
Then we established Hilltop surgery.
We put in a huge effort to achieve a stable practice.
Jane was one of the essential members of our group. She was extremely popularwith the patients with her good sense of humour, and high standards of care.
I remember when I encouraged her to do her masters degree at Wolverhampton, and found we only had one day left to apply,
I went to her house to sort out the form with her.
She was an excellent colleague and friend and sometimes patients thought she was my wife as we never stopped having arguments!
Her loss for me, is devastating and I shall always miss her. A dear friend.
Jane would let me stay at her house on Saturdays after me and Jenny had been in Birmingham on a night out. She was always so welcoming, caring, funny, kind…the list is endless. She was the nicest woman you could ever meet, beautiful on the inside and out. Jenny always spoke so highly of her. You could see how much jane adored her family from the photos that were shared by Jenny on Facebook.
I didn’t have the pleasure of working with Jane but you could just tell she was a fantastic nurse just from her personality and I know she did so well in her career, I know jenny will continue to do well in her career from having Jane as her mother and role model.
Rip Jane. Myself and my family send all of the family so much love during this heartbreaking time.
Jane was one of my best selection of a colleague to work with my medical practice. She was always cheerful, hard working, clever and excellent at her job, friendly to all my other colleagues and always treated patients with honesty, humility and a wonderful smile. I will miss her terribly.
Dear Jane,
We have wonderful memories of being welcomed into the family on so many occasions such as the New Year’s celebrations at Neil and Deb’s home where we shared in the festivities and you were such great company. You were a very warm, kind, fun and caring person to be around and clearly loved by all.
You achieved so much in life; a brilliant nurse, doting and proud mother, wife, daughter, sister and later (we hear) grandmother.
We feel honored to have been a small part of your life Jane. Unfortunately we lost touch as we moved to live so far away but we will always cherish those fond memories.
Rest in peace.
Jane was a wonderful person inside and out. I am so grateful to have worked with her. If you were feeling low an injection of Jane with her wonderful smile was all you needed for the day. She is truly missed but never forgotten. Thank you Jane for being the amazing person that you were.
Where to start? You were so caring & kind after having a ear infection some years ago you were shocked to see i had landed up in hospital, you thinking its unlike Michelle to call an Ambulance, on further investigation you found i’d had a Brain Haemorrhage. You were great Jane not only checking on me but my son who was with me at the time & only aged 14. It meant so much. We have laughed, got teary eyed & put the world to rights in your consulting room. Spoke of families, kids & special occassions such as ‘afternoon tea at the Ritz’ & hot flushes where you had bedroom window wide open & John wearing a woolly hat because he was cold! It was apparant how much family meant to you. I was witness to a spat with Dr Hanna, hilarious he should of took the hint of the look he got but a typical man he didn’t take the hint. The world was a brighter place having known you the light has now dimmed a little for such a lot of people now you have gone. 🙏 Rest easy Jane xxxx
I met Jane through working with her daughter Jenny, Jane came out on several of our Christmas parties. I Remember when I first met Jane how I found her very kind & friendly & full of fun!.
I’m glad I had the privilege of knowing her xx.
Thinking of all the family at this sad time
Love Karen.
Jane was my rock when I worked at Hill Top, I couldn’t have done it without her. She has been my great friend for many years and I miss her loads. Nothing was too much trouble a truly remarkable and beautiful lady inside and out, she did so much good in this world and heaven has gained the most wonderful angel to watch over her amazing family. Sending love and hugs to you all, Oman and Jeanette
Simply the most wonderful colleague , a truly dedicated old school nurse who always went the extra mile for her patients . Taken far too soon from her amazing family to whom I send my deepest condolences . I will never forget her
What a beautiful soul Jane was, she gave me so much support through my vasculitis diagnosis and I will always be thankful for that. Jane will be very sadly missed 😢
