Arrangements for the Funeral of Susan Cope

Redditch Crematorium
Friday 21st July at 2pm
Family and friends are gathering at Redditch crematorium to remember Sue and to celebrate her life.
Sue was very keen for this to be a fun celebration of her life and so asked that everyone come, without fail, in fancy dress. Definitely no black.
Sue’s family will be giving a prize on the day for the most inappropriate funeral outfit – so please – feel free to go wild in Sue’s memory.
And if you’d like to prepare a note, letter, card or photo to bring with you to place with Sue – there will be an opportunity to do so during the ceremony. Pens and cards will be available on the day if you forget.
You are all invited to share memories further after the ceremony at The Alvechurch Inn.
If you wish to do something further in Sue’s memory, donations to Birmingham Hospice at St Mary’s would be welcomed rather than flowers. Details on how to donate can be found in the tab below.
All information regarding how to get to Redditch, The Alvechurch Inn, donations etc can be found in the tabs below.
Sue’s family welcome any tributes, words of remembrance and stories about her so do feel free to leave any messages at the bottom of this webpage. (Please note comments are moderated so do not go live immediately)

If you are attending this funeral and would like to find out more about what we do and what you might experience our ‘About Us’ page is a great place to start.
Susan was my sparring partner, we both gave as good as we took and neither of us backed down. Loved her sense of humour, she was a good friend who I will miss greatly.
Will always be so thankful to Sue (and Adrian) for being the best ever host family to our Brad we could have ever hoped for. You treated him like one of your own, and he thought of you like a grandparent with fondest of memories.
Warrior woman, what can I say other than thank you.
Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the advise, the inspiration and most of all thank you for accepting me and mine as one of you and yours.
Love you always
