I first met Ian when I was in my late teens. He will always be remembered for his love of talking about food and the many recipes he recommended. He was very pleased with how much I enjoyed his roast potatoes – no one could match up to them in my opinion! Whenever I was invited over for a family gathering he never failed to make them for me! If you ever needed a good laugh, Ian was always well prepared to tell a joke – many were cringeworthy but he always got a good response from those who heard them. You will be forever in our hearts – ‘ta-ra a bit’ as Ian always used to say as he drove away after his visits. RIP xxxx
I couldn’t be at Ian’s funeral but watched via the link. Ian you are so loved and there was not a dry eye during the service. Rest in peace Ian xxx
