Diane was such a warm, beautiful women with unlimited amounts of love for everyone around her. She was so fabulous, if Diane was not in Zara she would have been in TK Maxx with her daughter Sarah wearing their matching red lipstick.
The most important shopping day of the year was definitely the Cheltenham Christmas shopping trip where the girls would go and shop until they dropped, finishing off the day with a glamorous meal and glass of Prosecco 🤍
Family is where life begins and love never ends🤍

Whoever you speak to about Diane, everyone will say what a lovely, nice, kind lady she was and those words couldn’t be more true about someone.
Whenever I think of her, I just picture a beautiful, classy and glamours woman. I just see her looking gorgeous with her platinum blonde hair, bardot top and red lipstick….always looking stunning.
Diane always had time for you and asked how you was, she would remember something you said ages ago and still ask how it was going. So caring and interested in whatever you had to say.
My heart aches for her family, especially for her daughter, my beautiful Sarah. Their bond is unbreakable and always will be. They were just the perfect team with a perfect relationship. Diane was so proud of Sarah and cherished their relationship and Sarah adored her mum.
Anyone who knew Diane should feel honoured to have known her, as do I. I feel lucky and privileged to have met her and she will be so deeply missed.
Love you Diane, may you rest in peace
In the early 60’s Diane and I went on a school trip to Stansfeld in Oxford for 3weeks which is a long time when your still at Junior School.
We had a lovely time and enjoyed every minute but at bedtime I would get upset and cry missing home and my family, Diane held my hand every night to comfort me…….and that was Diane the most caring, gentle true friend a friendship that lasted a lifetime.
I will miss you Di, till we hold hands again. ❤️❤️❤️

Went to visit Di at the hospital after Sarah’s birth. Di greeted me at the lift. I naively said “Oh Di I thought you’d had the baby?!” She smiled and said “Elaine – I have!!” Di and I have laughed repeatedly about it since.
A true friend, I can’t think of my teens or early 20s without thinking of Diane, we shared so many good times and plenty of laughs.A caring loving friend. Every there time I came back to the u.k. from Australia we would catch up and share our news.
I will miss this my dear girlfriend.
Good night and God bless
Diane.

Hello Chris, It’s Dave Dance if you remember me. I have only just learnt of the very sad news about Diane. In the last 24 hours it has brought back so many memories of the early ’70’s and probably one of the happiest periods of my working life. I really like Diane as you probably recall and even though I’d not spoken with her in almost 40 years this news has come as a major blow. I had heard some years ago that you were in Australia with Derek and I remember you both well. I hope you are doing well, enjoying life in that great country which I have visited many times with good friends in Adelaide and Melbourne. I hope this mail hasn’t been an intrusion, take care and best wishes Dave D…
Diane and I met at work 50 years ago. We had many adventures and shared many laughs and memories together. A lovely caring person and friend. Taken too young. I miss you Di, I will always remember you.
Will always remember Diane from the school where Sarah and I went and from playing at Sarah’s house. I remember Diane as being gracious, glamorous, and always so lovely and welcoming and a lovely mom. A true lady who will be sadly missed xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
In loving memory of a dear friend who I have known since our children were in Primary School and which was where we both ultimately worked. Diane was a really special lady, who never had a bad word to say about anybody. She was truly a lovely person, inside and out, who was always immaculate and didn’t age as the years passed. It is inconceivable that she has gone, but she will never ever be forgotten. RIP beautiful lady. Love Jan

Gerald and I have known,Diane, and the family for many many years as a friend,
close neighbour, and to me, a work colleague, she delivered,Avon, to me for a long time always having an up to date chat about the neighbourhood and latterly who worked for Askers, chemist at the Doctors’ surgery, before she retired. In doing all these jobs and looking after her family we saw her frequently. Also Diane and Vic and close neighbours would all go out together for a night out, which we all enjoyed for a social natter.Since moving to Evesham, we have still kept in touch with people in yarningale rd,even though latterly through Christmas cards.
We will never forget Diane, and our heartfelt wishes go to Vic, Sarah and Andrew though this very hard time.

I remember Diane so well from the early ’70’s when she worked in the punch room at British Leyland. Di, her friend Chris Hobbis and myself would usually disappear for a couple of drinks most Friday lunchtimes and I have nothing other than fond memories of her. She was a lovely person and I am so sad to hear this news even though it has been more than 40 years since we last saw one another. I have only just found out about this sad event and would like to pass on my condolences to her family even though I don’t know them. RIP Di, I will always remember you with great fondness. DD
