Arrangements for the funeral of Raymond Holden
Waseley Hills Crematorium
Friday 31st January 2025, 11am.
Ray’s family and friends are invited to attend a ceremony at Waseley Hills crematorium on the 31st January at 11am to say goodbye to him.
You are warmly invited for refreshments after the service to Ray’s home in Kings Norton.
If you would like to send flowers, please contact us and we will let you know where they can be sent.
Or if you would prefer to make a donation in Ray’s memory, please consider RSPB. There will be a collection box in the chapel on the day of the funeral, otherwise you can donate online using this link
There is no particular dresscode for the day – black is not obligatory, please come in whatever you feel is comfortable.

Ray was a lovely and caring father-in-law. I’m happy I got to know him in his element – among family, for strolls along rivers, in gardens and nature reserves. His gentle, generous nature and his love of nature made an impression. If only I could have gotten to know him better. He’ll be with us every time we listen to folk or twangy music, and every time we bird watch…
Anna remembers that Ray always seemed really cool to us when we were children.
I remember enjoying going to visit him with Sophie and Nathalie when we all lived together. He had a leather jacket, which put him in a different league to the other adults we knew at the time!
Val says he was a nice fellow.
