Writing your funeral wishes can make life a bit easier for those you leave behind, whether you’re giving them strict instructions on certain elements, or actively giving them the freedom to remember you how they wish.

Experience tells us that a funeral is an important human ritual that can help people and communities when someone dies, but we also understand that everyone is different and their funeral should always be reflective of the way they have lived.

A ceremony can take place in many different forms and spaces, and during our session with you we can share real life examples and ideas to help shape a ceremony that
feels natural for you.

Using our Funeral Wishes template as a guide we’ll help you decide what is important to you, and the questions you might want to put to your family or friends.

At the end of the session we’ll give you a summary of your wishes to keep, add to, and share as appropriate.
